College Preparation

Hazel (2016) notes that "educational obtainment, especially a college diploma, is the best predictor of economic attainment" (p.25). As you begin your journey into higher education it is important to prepare for admission to your college of choice.  Below you will find many useful sites to help you register for TSI, SAT, and ACT exams.  Don't let money be a deterrent. College Applications

Some colleges and universities have their own applications for admission that require applications through their specific websites.  Below you will find 3 applications that will automatically transfer your information to numerous colleges with one application. 

A COMPLETE Application has: an application, resume, essays, test scores, transcripts, application fee, and financial aid application.​

Pre-College Tests

Colleges want to know that you are prepared to succeed in the college environment. Below you will find links to register for your tests that indicate college readiness. (Before enrolling in dual credit courses at BHS, you must pass the TSI.)

After completing your TSI pre-assessment, stop by the career center to register for your TSI exam.

Scholarships

The sources for scholarships are endless. Below you will find national and state scholarship opportunities. Please visit the career center to learn more about local scholarships.

To apply for local scholarships stop by the career center and pick up the scholarship packet.

You must register with NCAA to play a sport in college.
